The Spark Grant supports Home in Place tenants who have an idea for a small activity that brings people together.
It provides funding to help start simple community activities where tenants can connect, share interests and spend time together.
Activities supported by the Spark Grant might include:
- Coffee groups
- Walking groups
- Craft circles
- Movie nights
- Garden clubs
These activities can start off as a one-off events and grow to become regular gatherings. Funding may help cover costs such as materials or supplies, venue hire, equipment, light refreshments, or printing and promotion.
Who can apply
The Spark Grant is available to Home in Place tenants who would like to organise an activity that other tenants can join, whether for people in their building, their neighbourhood or any Home in Place tenants who would like to participate.
