Bushland Autumn Clean Up Event

Bushland Estate Community Clean-Up 🌿

Join us in keeping our community clean, safe, and looking its best!

Location: Hughes Street, Taree (vacant block)

Date: Wednesday, 8 April 2026

Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm

Event Highlights:
Community Clean-Up: Dispose of unwanted bulky items
BBQ Lunch: 11:00am – 1:00pm (free for attendees)

Residents are encouraged to bring along accepted bulky waste items and help tidy up the neighbourhood.

Accepted Items Include:

  • Scrap metal and white goods (fridges, washing machines, microwaves, dryers)
  • Furniture (lounges, tables, chairs – size limits apply)
  • E-waste (computers, TVs, stereos)
  • Household items (bric-a-brac, vacuum cleaners, pottery, foam mattresses – no springs)

Not Accepted:

  • Hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, asbestos, gas bottles, batteries)
  • Building materials, glass, fencing wire, tyres, vehicle parts
  • Large hot water systems, spring mattresses, fuel or oil-containing items

Important: Please place bulky waste out between 6–8 April 2026
