Aboriginal Housing

Home In Place provides more than Aboriginal housing. We welcome many Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander tenants in specific Aboriginal housing properties in Brewarrina, Bourke, Broken Hill, Dubbo, Maitland, Menindee, Newcastle, Walgett and Wilcannia, as well as in our other social and affordable housing and Specialist Disability Accommodation properties in NSW and South East Queensland.

Our expert staff work with other First Nations programs and support providers to help tenants get skills and services to help them to participate in the community. Our experienced team are trained to deliver support in a culturally appropriate way.

Our partnerships

Home In Place partners with a range of services to provide culturally appropriate support to tenants. One example is our 123 Creedon Street Hub in Broken Hill. The hub provides a place for Aboriginal tenants to meet, learn skills and access government and other services in the one place, close to their homes.
