We have some exciting news!
On the 29th of April 2022, Compass Housing Services is changing its trading name to Home in Place.
Over the past 35 years we have grown from a tiny firm with a handful of properties, to one of the biggest social housing providers in the country. Although social housing is still our core business, we now do a range of other things like property development, community development, facilities management, and disability housing. We’re also exploring new business opportunities and expanding into new markets domestically and internationally.
The new name is about reflecting that growth and creating a brand identity that captures the full range of what we do.
We will continue to provide the same excellent service our tenants, residents and clients have come to expect and this change to the trading name will not impact the legal status of the entity and all existing contracts will remain in effect.
Why “Home in Place”?
Compass has always believed that social housing is about more than accommodation, hence the focus on “homes” rather than “houses”. The concept of “place” is central to our company philosophy. It is one of the reasons we devote so much energy to trying to help our clients feel connected, and active participants in their communities – this is something experts refer to as “place making” – it’s the process of strengthening the connection between people and the places they share.
So, Home in Place is not just a name. It’s an expression of our value and a statement about who we are, and what we do.
