From 29 April 2022, Compass Housing Services became Home In Place.

Home4Life have secured finance to install additional solar panels and monitoring systems across the portfolio to ensure better outcomes for residents and reduce emissions.

A Home4Life Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) home at Fletcher NSW is the first to receive the upgrade. The upgrade includes the installation of a 13.2KW panel system, as well as a 10KWH battery, superseding the old 3.5KW panel-only system.

Home in Place SDA Operations Manager, Larissa Bridge, met with Home4Life General Manager Preeti Lamba, and New Horizons representative Claudia Meddermmen, to witness the installation and Solar Energy Enterprises Managing Director, Adam Dragic, also attended to oversee the install.

The program aims to combat ever increasing energy costs and provide a more sustainable service for residents.
